Research

From working software to long-term research.

Our work spans three areas. AI Software is where our research becomes a product people use. Communication and Robotics are research areas we are actively exploring.

Product

AI Software

Octopus Prime, our flagship product: AI agents that work alongside teams, helping people get more done together.

Our software work starts from a simple question: how can AI become a dependable colleague rather than another tool to manage? Octopus Prime is our answer so far. It brings AI agents into the everyday flow of a team, so they can take on work, keep track of it, and hand results back to the people they work with.

Building real software keeps our research honest. It shows us where AI already helps, where it still falls short, and what people need before they can trust it with meaningful work.

Technology that fits into life, calmly.
Research

Communication

Research into simpler, more connected ways for people, teams and AI to communicate.

As AI takes part in more conversations, the way we communicate is starting to change. We are studying how messages, context and decisions can move more naturally between people and the AI systems that support them.

Our focus is on clarity: fewer places to look, less repeating yourself, and communication that keeps everyone, human or AI, working from the same understanding.

Early research

Robotics

Early research into intelligent machines that work with people, safely and helpfully, in the physical world.

Intelligence that can act in the physical world opens new possibilities and new responsibilities. Our robotics work is at an early, exploratory stage: we are studying how intelligent machines can collaborate with people, understand their surroundings, and stay predictable and safe.

We see robotics as a long-term direction. The same principles that guide our software apply here: machines should extend what people can do, not replace their judgment.
